AI Music Video Prompt Generator — Runway / Sora / Kling / Veo
Free. No signup. Pick a mood + a model. Get 5 production-grade prompts with the camera, lens, and lighting language the models actually respond to.
Why this exists
Most prompts for AI video models fail for the same two reasons: they describe a vibe ("cinematic music video") instead of a shot, and they omit the camera + lens + lighting vocabulary the models trained on. This generator templates the second half so you can focus on the first. It is a free wedge from the same prompt library behind the AI Music Video Prompt Pack — that pack ships 200 to 400 prompts hand-tuned per mood; the generator's job is to convince you the vocabulary works before you buy.
How to use the prompts
- Pick the visual mood and the model. Each model favors slightly different phrasing — the generator swaps in the right tokens.
- Click Generate. Five distinct prompts appear, each a complete shot description: subject, action, environment, camera, lens, lighting.
- Copy one prompt, paste into Runway / Sora / Kling / Veo, render at 1080p. If the first generation isn't there, regenerate — coherent video models reward 3-5 rerolls.
- Swap your song subject into the action verb. Keep the camera + lens + lighting language untouched — that is the part doing the work.
- Cut the strongest 4-8 seconds and use it as your hook. Don't make a 60-second AI video — make a music-video moment.

Frequently asked
Why these moods and not others?
These 15 moods cover the genres that respond best to AI video right now: neon noir for moody hip-hop, sun-soaked indie for folk-pop, gritty rap for trap, ethereal pop for dream-pop, and so on. Heavy metalcore and aggressive rock are deliberately absent — they don't render well yet without heavy post.
Why Runway, Sora, Kling, and Veo specifically?
These four cover ~95% of music-video AI work in 2026. Runway Gen-4 is the workhorse for short cinematic shots. Sora handles longer, motion-heavy scenes. Kling is the cheapest per second and the most cooperative on stylized prompts. Veo is the strongest at photorealism. Each one prefers slightly different prompt phrasing — the generator picks the right tokens per model.
Are these the prompts in the paid pack?
No. The pack ships 200 fully written prompts per mood — each one hand-tuned with specific lens choices, lighting setups, and color palettes that get coherent results across all four models. The generator templates the structure so you can see how the prompts are built; the pack is what you actually buy to stop typing prompts.
Can I use these prompts commercially?
Yes. The prompts are templates, not copyrighted work. The video output you generate is yours to use commercially under the terms of whichever model you used. Runway, Sora, Kling, and Veo all permit commercial use on paid plans.
